  • Sampler: Yin, Flow, Restore

    Start with yin (holding poses for 1-3 min), move into a flow with 2 sun a salutations, a warrior short sequence, and ending in restorative.   • Yin Shoulders and Hips (option cued for no twists)

    This is a trauma informed practice to target the hips and shoulders. Option to use one bolster and two blocks for practices. These poses were held a little less time than in some of our other yin practices.

  • Yin for Hips

    We used 2 blocks or the option for a bolster for this practice. The sequence is focused on the hips and inner thighs.

  • Yin for Shoulders

    Option for this practice to use a strap, and 2 blocks are needed for one of the poses in class (can use rolled blanket under the shoulders and head if no blocks are available).   • Yin Yoga for Hips

    This practice was focused on present awareness and changing internal messages that we give to ourselves. The sequence targets the hips, and you can use props for more support or do without any props to support you.

  • Sampler 60 min

    Trauma informed practice starting with yin poses, moving to short flow, and closing with restorative. Use of 2 blocks, and one bolster or large pillow.

  • Yin with some dynamic movement: Shoulders

    60 min yin practice, trauma informed, focusing on the shoulders. Bolster and block are options, but you can do all but the last closing pose without props. Dynamic movement offered for some poses between holding longer poses of 2-4 min.

  • Yin Yoga, Trauma Informed: Hips

    This practice is focused on the hips and inner thighs. Use of a yoga strap is recommended for the first part of class to support the body in the holding of the poses. As always, listen to your body and make options that serve you.

  • Sampler: YIn, Flow, Restore

    Grab a bolster, block and blanket for the restorative option of class. Otherwise this is a practice without props. Tiny flow, some yin with shorter holds and more options for dynamic movement.

  • Yin Practice: Shoulders and Hips

    This practice is "prop" light, so you can use a bolster, or big pillow, or do the practice with no props. Option to use blocks or anything to elevate the arms.

  • Sampler Class: YIn, Flow, Restore

    This is our sampler practice, using no props to start but ending with a bolster or rolled blankets, large pillows etc. This practice is fully balanced with some movement and rest, as well as some work into connective tissues.

  • Yin for Shoulders and Hips

    This practice has a focus on the hips and shoulders, and uses one bolster (or any prop you have that resembles a bolster such as a large pillow or rolled blanket). As always, listen to your body and honor the choices that feel right in your practice.

  • Sampler

    This is a 60 min practice, starting with yin or dynamic movement, moving to a short flow, and closing in a restorative practice.

  • Yin Yoga 60 min

    Trauma Informed Yin yoga, focusing on the hips, inner thighs, and hamstrings. Option to use bolsters or props that resemble (blankets, pillows) for comfort.

  • Sampler 60 Min Option to stop Practice at 40 min

    This is a fully balanced practice, starting with flow and ending in restorative. You can stop the practice at the 40 min mark if you don't have time and skip the restorative piece of the practice.

  • Yoga Nidra/iRest for Yogic Sleep

    Yoga Nidra is an awake sleep, and is meant to promote relaxation and rest. The practice should not be stopped mid-way, but done the full 35 min so that you do not exit while your brain is in a sleep state. Set yourself up on props for this practice as shown and cued in the video.

  • 35 Min Yoga Nidra/iRest

    Here is a 35 min Yoga Nidra practice, using the iRest protocol. Students should complete the entire 35 min, as stopping the practice before completion can leave one in a sleep like state.     Balance your chakra energy with this sound healing practice.

  • 25 min Flow Stand alone or combine with 25 min restorative for full practice

    This 25 min gentle flow can be a stand alone or combined option with the 25 min restorative, for a fully balanced practice.

  • 60 min Yin Dynamic movement and 45 min stop option

    This is a 60 min Yin practice that can be stopped in child's pose to close the practice for a shorter, 45 min practice. Options to move more dynamically rather than holding poses.

  • 60 Min Yin Practice

    This 60 min trauma informed yin class focuses on the hips and shoulders, and has the option to practice with props.

  • 60 Min Sampler Trauma Informed

    Here is our 60 min sampler class, open hips, trauma informed. This class focuses on a yin opening, followed by a short flow, closing with a restorative practice. This is a fully balanced Samana practice, allowing you to discharge energy then relax.
